Oliver Keating was possessed of the manor of Kilcowan at the time of his death in March 1629 (Jeffrey 1979, 78-9). This consisted of a castle (WX046-041001-), a hall (WX046-041002-), an orchard, a messuage or house and appurtenances, and at least two cottages. The location of the messauge cannot be identified.
