What is recorded here

Situated in the slight valley of a small NNW-SSE stream, which is immediately to the SW. This is a D-shaped scrub-covered area (diam. c. 35m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3- 0.6m; ext. H 0.4-0.8m) N-E-S, but the perimeter is truncated by the stream at W. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload/revision: 16 August, 2013
