Inside the church of Tintern (WX045-029001-) at the SW angle is a worn memorial commemorating Mary Ivory with the date 1697. It has been recorded by B. Cantwell (1984, vol. 8, No. 383, A, No. 8) as: Here lieth the body of Mary Ivory only dauther of William Ivory of New Ross esq and wife/ to Caesar Colclough of Rosegar/land Esq son of Anthony & grandson of Sir Thomas Colclough/ shee (sic) had issue one son Anthony/ six daughters Anne, Antonia,/ Margaret, Maery, Frances & Elenor./ Maria died before the mother. Antonia, Margaret & Mary / Shee dyed at Rosegarland Agus ye 2/1697/ in the 38th year of her age. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 July, 2013
