Situated towards the top of a gentle E-facing slope. This is a slightly raised and overgrown circular area (diam. 26m N-S) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 4m at E to 10m at W; int. D 1.3-1.9m; ext. D 1.2m at S to 2m at W). There is no visible entrance, or clear evidence of an inner bank, and the wide fosse SW-NW may be due to quarrying of the outer edge of the fosse.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
