Situated on the N bank of a small E-W stream that joins the N-S Kayle stream c. 350m to the W. This is a low kidney shaped mound (L 18m; H 0.2m) composed of burnt and broken stones visible when it is ploughed. The site of the horizontal mill (WX040-073001-) is at a slight bend in the stream c. 10m to the SE.
