What is recorded here

The church (WX038-004001-) is within an oval raised graveyard (dims c. 83m NW-SE; c. 20-46m NE-SW) defined by field banks. Both are at the NE angle of what was the island of Begerin (dims c. 450m NE-SW: c. 150-200m NW-SE) in the tidal north slob of Wexford Harbour, but since the reclamation work of the mid-19th century is now part of the reclaimed north slob. There is a cross-inscribed stone (WX037-004005-) towards the E edge of the graveyard, but the cross-slab (WX038-004006-) is in the National Museum of Ireland and the cross-slab (WX038-004004-) is now in the Wexford County Museum at Enniscorthy.
