Marked as a rectangular roofed structure (dims c. 15m E-W; c. 8m N-S) described as 'Church (in ruins)' on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map and as what is probably a single gable on the 1941 ed. It is located on a shelf at the bottom of an E-facing slope and c. 15m N of the edge of the ravine (D c. 10m) of a S-N stream that is part of the headwaters of the Polehore Pill. Cairn material was removed in the 1980s leaving the vegetation mark of a rectangular enclosure (ext. dims 20m N-S; 15m E-W), but the E edge appears to have been missing. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
