What is recorded here

Situated towards the top of a W and NW-facing slope. This is a subcircular wooded area (dims. 24m E-W; 20.3m N-S) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 2-3.4m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4-2m) and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6-7m; Wth of base 2.3-3m; D 1m), with evidence of outer bank (Wth 5.5-6.3m; ext. H 0.1m at W to1.2m at N) W-NE. The bank and fosse have been destroyed S W. There is no visible entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
