Marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims c. 50m NW-SE; c. 50m NE-SW) only on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight NE-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in rough pasture. (Barry 1977, 222, WX 71) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
