Situated on a NE-facing slope of a W-E spur between W-E streams c. 180m to the S and c. 50m to the N. The church of Killell (WX036-012----) and its graveyard (WX036-012001-) are not identifiable within an ecclesiastical enclosure that is a roughly circular but overgrown and slightly raised clearing in a coniferous forest (diam. c. 40m) defined by a scarp N-SE, with traces of a fosse (Wth of top 2.7m; D 0.4m) NW-N. A small cross inscribed slab (WX036-012002-) that was found on the site is now in the Wexford County Museum in Enniscorthy (WX0200-031016-) (Kelly 1988, 96, fig. 31d).
