Just off the crest of a low NW-SE ridge on the NE-facing slope overlooking a col c. 300m to the NE with a higher hill c. 700m to the NNW and the summit of Slievecoiltia c. 1.7 km to the NE. It is also just inside a NE-SW road bank. This is a granite stone oriented E-W (dims. c. 1.6m x c. 1m; H 2.3m). The abpve description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
