Marked as large bivallate enclosure (int. diam. c. 40m; ext. diam. c. 75m) on the 1839 and 1925 eds of the OS 6-inch map and situated on a N-facing slope overlooking a col c. 400m to the NE between Ballylane Hill c. 1.2 km SW of the col and a lower NE-SW ridge c. 500m N of the col. It is now completely quarried away. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
