What is recorded here

Fragments of an Enlarged Food Vessel Urn were found in a cist in 1931 in the same field in Misterin where cists (WX030-066----; WX030-067----) had been discovered previously according to newspaper reports (Irish Independent, 06/06/1931 and 08/06/1931; Irish Times, 08/06/1931), and the fragments are now in the National Museum of Ireland. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 15 August, 2012

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
