What is recorded here

Located on a slight rise towards the E end of a small NW-SE ridge. There is local information on the discovery in 1973 of a red pottery vessel with ashes beneath a stone (dims. 1m x 0.75m) which is still visible at the surface. The excavation was filled in again without being disturbed. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, vol. 2, 451-2) Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 7 August, 2012
