Located on a slight W-facing slope. This is a raised rectangular and overgrown area (dims. 32m NW-SE; 29m NE-SW) defined by wet, flat-bottomed moats (Wth 9-10m normally to 13m at SW; int. D 2m at NW; ext. D 1.2-1.6m). There is a pond c. 30m to SW of the site. (Barry 1977, 221, WX 62)
