Marked faintly as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 55m E-W; c. 45m N-S) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map and situated in the basin of the N-S River Sow with a channel of the stream c. 250m to the W. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. It may have been a tree-ring on the demesne of Ballinkeel House c. 450m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
