Marked as the site of a church and graveyard on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as the site of a church and holy well on the 1940 ed. It is situated on a hillock with the W-E Boro River curving around it SW-N-SE at a distance of c. 65m to the W, c. 130m to the N, c. 200m to the NE and c. 110m to the SE. The confluence with the N-S River Slaney is c. 600m to the SE. There is no visible evidence of a well.
