Described as ‘Toberpatrick’ in gothic script on the 1839 and 1924 eds of the OS 6-inch map. According to John O’Donovan writing c. 1840 rounds were performed at the well until c. 1820 (O’Flanagan 1933, vol. 2, 46). It is located in a shallow basin with a small SW-NE stream c. 15m to the N. It is described in the 1940s as a natural spring with a bush nearby with no sign of any arteficial construction or of veneration (SMR file). It is not visible now in reclaimed pasture.
