Situated at the base of a SE-facing slope and on the N side of the rise around Rossdroit church (WX025-011----). Excavation (04E0396) at Site 1 as part of the N30 re-alignment recorded an arc of seven post-holes enclosing a space (diam. c. 7.5m) which had an inner ring of four posts. There were numerous stake-holes inside the inner ring but a hearth may have been in the S half of the structure, which was disturbed by the existing N30 road. Pottery finds suggest a Middle Bronze Age date. (Ó Maoldúin 2004, 5, Structure 1; 2007, 468)
