Located towards to the top of the S-facing slope of an E-W ridge, and at the W edge of a coniferous wood. This is a circular area (diam. c. 90m) defined by a low earthen bank (at N: Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.2m) and outer fosse (at N: Wth of top 3.5m; D 0.5m. There is no recognisable entrance.
