Located towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of of a low, broad E-W ridge, with a small S-N stream c. 280m to the W, and its confluence with the N-S River Slaney is c. 500m to the NW. The faint cropmark of a narrow-ditched enclosure (diam. c. 45m) is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, AYJ 89). It is not visible at ground level in a harvested cereal crop. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
