Situated on a rise in the flood-plain of the NE-SW River Bann with the stream c. 75m to the NW. A circular cropmark (diam. c. 40m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: ASW 76, BDJ 69, BGF 19). No feature is visible at ground level in pasture. The rath site (WX016-002002-) is c. 20m to the N. It is also faintly visible on Google Earth (14/07/2018).
