Located on a slight rise in the flood-plain f the NE-SW River Bann with the stream c. 150m to the SE and a small W-E stream c. 20m to the S. A cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) enclosing a small hillock and defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: BGP 80). No feature is visible at ground level in pasture, but the enclosure can be seen faintly on the OSI series of aerial photographs (1995).
