Situated on a slight E-W rise in the floodplain of the ENE-WSW Bann River, with the stream c. 250m to the N. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: BDJ 63). No feature is visible at ground level in a cereal crop. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
