Excavated (E3491) during 2005 by T. Breen as part of Site 27 at Raheenagurren West, which was one of the excavations undertaken in advance of the construction of the N11 Arklow-Gorey link-road. Situated on a gentle W-facing slope. An area of broken and burnt stone (feature 20) (dims. 3.5m x 1.5m; T 0.1m) consisted of two layers separed by a later drainage ditch. A piece of flint was recovered but there was no evidence of a trough. Fulacht fia (WX012-034009-) is c. 20m to the NW. (Breen 2008, 12)
