Identified in centre-line testing (E4110) in advance of the M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy road scheme and set aside for resolution as Frankfort 8 (Hardy et al. 2010, 38). It is situated on a level landscape and was completely excavated (E4158) by B. Sutton as a pit (dims 1.45m x 0.75m; D 0.2m) with some heat-shattered stones in the bottom (Sutton 2013). A sample of charred hazel produced a radiocarbon date of 3334-2934 Cal. BC. The unrelated habitation site (WX011-064----) is c. 35m to the SW. (Hull and Ruttle 2011, 9-10; Sutton 2013)
