Excavated (E3477) during 2005 by L. Mckinstry as Site 12 at Moneylawn Lower, which was one of the excavations undertaken in advance of the construction of the N11 Arklow-Gorey link road. Situated on a slight S-facing slope. A single pit (diam. 1m; max. D 0.22m) containing a brown sandy soil with charcoal inclusions was cut into the fire-redened subsoil. (Mckinstry 2008)
