According to Kinahan (1879-88, 159) an urn was found near the ford E of Monaseed. By the ford he may have intended that marked on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map on a W-E section of the Blackwater Stream between Annagh Middle and Bolany townlands, close to the standing stones (WX006-011----) and (WX006-012----), but the location of the cist remains unknown.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
