Marked as a large embanked D-shaped enclosure (dims. c. 130m N-S; c. 90m E-W) truncated by a N-S field bank at W on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated on a W-facing slope with the N-S River Bann c. 250m to the W. Nine small rectangular enclosures (dims. up to 37m x 35m) defined by low grass-covered banks or scarps cover an area of c. 6 acres and is what was represented by the map-makers.
