Marked as a standing stone only on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the floor of the W-E Blackwater Stream, which is c. 200m to the S. It was recorded in 1939 as a squat stone (dims. c. 0.75m x c. 0.3m; H c. 0.7m) (OSFM). It was not visible at ground level in pasture in 1987. The fulacht fia (WX006-013----) is c. 190m to the W.
