Situated on a gentle S-facing slope in pasture with a stream flowing NE-SW c. 20m to the E. Identified on Bing Images (c. 2013), it is also visible on Google Earth (28/06/2018; 14/07/2018). It consists of a large oval enclosure (dims. c. 57m NE-SW; c. 48m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank with stones protruding from it (pers. comm. Ivor Kenny). The NE quadrant was surveyed with remote sensing techniques (12R0118) which showed that there were two fosse features and is probably a rath (Harte 2013). It is also visible on Google Earth (14/07/2018).
