Situated on a broad low ridge. It was excavated (E3507) as site 49 during 2005 in advance of the building of the N11 Arklow - Gorey bypass. An area of burnt stone (diam. 5.5m; T 0.25m) overlay a shallow trough (dims. 2.4m x 2.1m; D 0.15m) with another possible trough (dims. 1.5m x 1.1m; D 0.16m) nearby. A number of tree-boles pre-dating the fulacht fia were also recorded as well as the palaeo-channel (Wth 0.5m; D 0.5m; L 7m) of a stream. (Martin 2008)
