Situated in the valley of a SW-NE stream, c. 20m N of the stream. It was excavated (E3505) as site 47 during 2005 in advance of the building of the N11 Arklow - Gorey bypass. An irregularly-shaped spread of burnt material (dims. 3.6m x 3.4m; T 0.05m) overlay a lower charcoal-rich deposit and a fire-redened soil. It may be a hearth. (Martin 2008)
