Kinahan (1879-88, 157) describes an enclosure on a NE-facing slope at Cummerduff that is probably post-medieval as a parallelogram (dims. c. 23-29m N-S; c. 16m E-W) probably defined by stone walls. Its precise location is not known, but it was on NE-facing slope in Cummerduff, just SW of the kiln (WX002-045----), with enclosure (WX002-047----) to the SW. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
