The site (L 2.2m min.; Wth 1.38m; D 0.11m) is orientated N-S and consists of closely spaced, transverse brushwood and occasional twigs. The brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.045m) is laid 1-2 pieces deep. Two pieces of brushwood have metal-cut chisel points and branch-trimming is evident on another piece. Wood species are dominated by alder, with hazel and willow also recorded. The site is situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat.
