The site (L 1.45m min.; Wth 1.35m min.; D 0.08m) consists of twelve pieces of brushwood, a peg and a twig. The elements are irregularly laid and widely spaced. The peg is set at 70° but is not in physical contact with any of the other elements. The twig appears to be twisted and wrapped around two of the brushwood pieces. Woodworking is evidenced by metal-cut chisel points on three elements. Wood species include alder, hazel and willow. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with a large amount of fibrous roots.
