A piece of light brushwood and two stakes in the drain face (Wth 0.18m; D 0.03m). The stakes extend up to 0.5m above the level of the horizontal piece at angles of 60-70°. Evidence for branch-trimming was noted. The wood is in moderate condition and sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. This site is 0.3m above SMR WM039-222---- and is one of nine closely situated sites along a 5m length of this drain including SMR WM039-197---- adjacent to the SW and SMR WM039-198---- 3.7m to the NE.
