A dense deposit (L 1.52m min.; Wth 0.53m min.; D 0.09m min.) of irregularly laid brushwood. On the W side of the deposit the elements are orientated NE-SW while on the E side, they are orientated N-S and overlie perpendicular pieces. The lighter elements are densest on the W side of the site and tend to be overlain with heavier brushwood. The condition of the wood is good although most of the ends are broken. Woodworking is evident on one piece of brushwood. Wood species include willow, hazel and ash. This site is present in well-humified Sphagnum peat with some fibrous roots.
