The site (Wth 1.13m; D 0.15m) is orientated N-S and composed of mixed brushwood and pegs. The centre of the site is densely packed with irregularly arranged light brushwood overlain by transverse, heavier brushwood. One side of the site is heavily damaged, the other is flanked by up to ten pegs set at 80-90°. Metal toolmarks are evident on a number of pieces cut to chisel and wedge points and a number of torn strips are recorded. Wood species include hazel and holly. The site is set in well-humified Sphagnum peat. SMR WM039-082---- is located in the opposite drain face 4.3m to the N of this site.
