An area (Wth 1.26m; D 0.2m) of dispersed brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.042m) and twigs in the drain face. A number of pieces lie in an E-W direction but many others are more irregular and there is no structural evidence. A single piece has a metal-cut chisel point. The wood is in good condition and sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and ericaceous roots.
