What is recorded here

An irregular scatter (L 2.3m; Wth 0.65m; D 0.28m) of five pieces of brushwood. Three are exposed on the field surface and the remaining two are in the opposing drain face. The brushwood (diam. 0.018-0.04m) is in moderate condition. Toolmarks were noted on the lower of the two pieces in the drain face. The wood is in good condition and is set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and some ericaceous roots. Date of upload: 08 August 2013
