Situated on the summit of a ridge, in undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a very small oval-shaped earthwork (approx. dims. 10m NW-SE; 7m NE-SW). Monument described in 1973 as no surface remains visible. The location of this mound would have been suitable for a barrow. Levelled monument is not visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.
