Situated on a low ridge running N-S, in otherwise rough wet pasture. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subcircular-shaped tree-planted enclosure. Monument described in 1977 as a large roughly circular-shaped platform (diam. 36m) defined by a steep scarp and external fosse. The site was reused as a tree ring in more recent times and both scarp and fosse have been disturbed. There is no sign of an entrance. The interior of the site is level to N and W but slopes downwards to S to E. There are no internal structures visible. Monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped tree-lined earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography. Possible ringfort reused as a tree-ring in the post-1700 period as part of the landscaping of the demesne of Hall House located 445m to SSE. Possibly not an antiquity but a designed landscape feature.
