Unlocated corn mill in the townland of Rattin that is mentioned in the terrier of the 1659 Down Survey map of Farbill Barony. The terrier of the 1659 Down Survey barony map records that there was in 'Clonafad [Clonfad] one Cornmill' (NLI, MS 723-4). On the Down Survey map of Farbill barony the present townland of Rattin is depicted as Clonfad. On the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map there is a Corn Mill depicted in an area annotated as 'Clonfad' located 835m SW of Clonfad church (WM027-066005-) and graveyard (WM027-066001-) and 1.4km NW of Rattin Castle (WM034-008---). It is possible that this building may have been the corn mill mentioned in the 1659 Down Survey or that this mill marked in the area of 'Clonfad' was built on the site of an earlier mill.
