The site (L 1.72m min.; Wth 1.66m min.; D 0.05m) is orientated N-S and includes a longitudinal timber beneath which lie three transverse planks set 0.42-0.57m apart. Beneath these are six closely laid, longitudinal timbers amongst which are occasional twigs and irregularly laid brushwood. Four posts, set at angles between 75-90°, are irregularly placed amongst this material. The majority of the timbers are radially split, with three miscellaneous split pieces also present. This site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat.
