The monument was inspected in 1976 and described as a ringfort situated on a low rise of ground in pasture with extensive views to E and S. Monument consists of a roughly circular area (diam. 40m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by a substantial earth and stone bank with shallow fosse and poorly preserved outer bank. The fosse is visible from N-NE and from ENE – E- S –SSW. (SMR file). The outer bank is visible from N-NE and from ENE-E-S. A causewayed entrance gap (Wth. 2.2m) is visible at S.
