Monument surveyed by ASI in 1976 and described as following; 'A small roughly D-shaped enclosure (diam. 34m N-S; 35m E-W) bounded by the remains of a low earthen bank and an internal fosse, the bank is best preserved at the S-W. The bank is defaced at a number of points by animal tracks but there is no indication of an original entrance. The interior is fairly even but slopes down in the E part. No internal features are visible. The bank is overgrown with traces and there is a single tree in the W of the interior. The site is surrounded by modern field banks and fences. The fences on the S and E are very low but that on the E has probably destroyed that side of the site. The site was probably originally circular. The site is on low ground in good pasture’ (SMR File 17/08/1976).
