Situated in low-lying, wet pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. A stream flows close to N and E. Ringfort (WM031-073----) lies c. 135m to NW. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped platform (diam. 35m) defined by an irregular bank which is low and is almost reduced to a scarp. The interior is relatively level with the outline of two possible house sites (WM031-074001-). A low bank projects from the bank at S and joins the end of one of the house sites. Monument is visible today as an oval-shaped, partly tree-covered earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
