Situated on a rise, in pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subcircular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1977 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 44m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a slight external fosse and possible entrance gap at E. The interior has a gentle S-facing slope and a house site (WM031-063001-) is visible in the centre. A number of boulders protrude from the surface in the S quadrant, yet form no definite plan. Some old field banks adjoin the earthwork at N. Monument is visible today as a roughly oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
