What is recorded here

Situated on gently rising ground, in pasture, with good views of the surrounding countryside. Ringfort (WM031-033----) lies c. 95m to SW. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 28m) enclosed by an earth and stone bank and external fosse with entrance gap at W. The interior has a gentle SW-facing slope and is featureless. Monument is visible today as an oval-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
